Test description / objective

To ensure that Tukko is fully localized in Swedish, including all user interface elements, menus, buttons, and information related to traffic and construction sites, providing a seamless experience for Swedish-speaking users.

Pre-state

The application is operational without Swedish localization applied.

Test Steps

  • Step 1 -> Change the application language setting to Swedish and verify that all menu items, buttons, and labels are accurately translated.
  • Step 2 -> Navigate through the application to ensure that all user interface elements, including dialogs and notifications, are presented in Swedish.
  • Step 3 -> Access the traffic data and construction site information to confirm it is displayed in Swedish, with correct use of local terminology.
  • Step 4 -> Perform a search using Swedish terms related to traffic and construction sites to verify the search functionality and results are correctly localized.

End-State

Tukko is fully localized in Swedish, with all UI elements, traffic data, and construction site information accurately translated and functioning as expected for Swedish-speaking users.

Determination of test result (Pass / Fail Criteria)

  • PASS condition: The map service application is completely localized into Swedish without any untranslated strings, incorrect terminology, or functional discrepancies in the localized version.
  • FAIL CONDITION: Any UI elements, traffic data, or construction site information remains untranslated, contains incorrect translations, or if any functional issues arise from the localization process.
